How to Install a 12V/24V Silicone Neon LED Strip？

1. Measure and Cut the LED Strip
Measure the installation length before cutting the silicone neon LED strip. Cut the extra section only along the marked cutting line to help protect the LED circuit and maintain proper strip operation.

2. Solder the Power Wires
Identify the red wire as positive (+) and the black wire as negative (-). Solder the wires to the corresponding PCB terminals of the LED strip, making sure the connection is secure and correctly aligned.

3. Apply Glue and Install the End Cap
Apply a suitable amount of glue to the end of the silicone neon LED strip. Install the matching end cap in the direction shown by the arrow, ensuring that the strip end is properly covered and sealed.

4. Fix the Mounting Clips
Prepare the screws and mounting clips for the installation. Position the clips along the planned lighting path, adjust the spacing as required and use a screwdriver to secure each clip firmly to the mounting surface.

5. Insert the LED Strip into the Clips
Pick up the prepared silicone neon LED strip and align it with the fixed mounting clips. Press the strip into each clip carefully until it is held securely and follows the required contour or linear lighting path.

6. Connect the Power and Protect the Terminals
Connect the installed LED strip to the correct power output. After wiring, insulate the terminals and exposed ends, then apply suitable short-circuit and anti-corrosion protection to help maintain a safer and more reliable installation.

 

Usage Precautions for 12V/24V Silicone Neon LED Strip

1. Do Not Bend the Strip Sideways
The silicone neon LED strip must not be bent in the lateral direction shown in the illustration. Only bend the strip along its designed bending(top bend) direction to avoid stress on the silicone tube, PCB and internal LED components.

2. Do Not Twist the LED Strip
Do not twist, rotate or fold the flexible neon LED strip during installation. Twisting can place uneven stress on the LED circuit and silicone tube, which may affect the strip’s appearance, connection points and normal operation.

3. Do Not Wrap It Around Objects Smaller Than 50 mm
Do not wrap the silicone neon LED strip around objects with a diameter of less than 50 mm. Keep the bending diameter at 50 mm or more to provide sufficient installation space and help prevent excessive bending stress on the strip.
