1. Six-LED RGBW Configuration

Six SMD3030 LEDs combine four RGB chips with two white LEDs in one 68 × 68 × 8.3 mm module. This layout supports dynamic color effects and white illumination from the same 12V constant-voltage unit, giving sign makers a flexible backlighting option for colorful branding, accent lighting and white illumination in illuminated signs and light boxes.

2. 175° Wide-Angle Lens

The 175° wide-angle lens helps distribute light across sign faces and single-sided light boxes. Designed for 8-15cm illuminated signs, this RGBW module suits layouts where even coverage is important. Test final spacing against the sign structure, face material and installation layout before production to confirm the required visual uniformity.

3. RGB and White-Light Selection

Separate RGB and white channels give this LED module more control than RGB color mixing alone. The specified wavelengths are 620-625 nm red, 520-525 nm green and 460-465 nm blue, while the white channel is available in 2700K, 3000K, 4000K or 6500K. One RGBW module can support colorful signage plus warm, neutral or cool white presentation.

4. IP65 Protection and Cascade Options

IP65 protection supports use in properly designed sign and light-box assemblies exposed to dust or water splash. The module operates from -25°C to +60°C and can be stored from -25°C to +70°C. At 68g per piece, it is easy to handle during assembly. The specified cascade limit is up to 10 modules with single-ended power or 20 with double-ended power.

Use the following figures as a starting reference when planning backlighting with this six-LED RGBW module. For an 80 mm light-box thickness, the recommended DX/DY pitch is 280 × 280 mm, using about 14 modules per square metre to achieve a typical surface illuminance of 1,800-2,000 lx at approximately 84 W/m². At 100 mm thickness, 360 × 360 mm spacing and around 9 modules/m² correspond to 1,000-1,200 lx and 54 W/m². For 120 mm and 150 mm boxes, the reference pitch is 460 × 460 mm with about 4 modules/m²; typical illuminance is 600-700 lx at 24 W/m² and 500-550 lx at 24 W/m², respectively. These values are based on a 12V DC module with a 175° beam angle and IP65 rating. Confirm the final result through on-site testing because face material, box construction, wiring and the selected RGBW channel can affect brightness uniformity and power demand.
