Key Features of Long Cascade LED Light Sheet
1. Cascade Design for Large Backlighting Projects
Unlike standard LED light sheets, this cascade LED light sheet is specifically engineered for large-format backlighting applications. Its cascade connection design allows multiple sheets to be connected efficiently, making it ideal for oversized light boxes, illuminated walls and commercial display systems while reducing wiring complexity.
2. Single LED Cuttable for Flexible Customization
Each LED can be cut individually, allowing installers to easily customize the lighting layout for different dimensions and irregular shapes. This flexible cutting capability minimizes material waste and simplifies installation for bespoke commercial lighting and signage projects.
3. Flexible FPC Board for Flat and Curved Installations
The high-quality flexible FPC board allows installation on flat, curved and circular surfaces without compromising lighting performance. It is especially suitable for round light boxes, architectural panels and customized display systems.
4. High-Current Connector for Large Lighting Systems
Equipped with a high-current terminal connector supporting up to 20A, this product enables reliable power distribution across larger lighting installations. The robust connector design reduces voltage drop and improves installation efficiency when multiple light sheets are connected together.

Connection Methods and Installation Guide for Long Cascade LED Light Sheet

Our LED light sheets support two standard wiring configurations to fit projects of all sizes, with additional scalable solutions available for large-area installations. Both core setups are quick to install using the matching accessories below.
Method 1: Cascade connection Connection (Figure 1)
Ideal for compact layouts with a small number of LED light sheets.
1. Plug one end of the sheet-to-power connection wires into the terminal of an LED light sheet, and connect the opposite end to your power supply.
2. For multi-sheet setups: Use sheet-to-sheet connection wires to link the adjacent terminals of two LED light sheets. Repeat this step to cascade connection additional sheets in sequence.
Important Notice: The maximum cascade connection quantity per single circuit varies by product model. For DC 12V or 24V systems, always verify the exact limit in the product’s technical specifications. Exceeding this rating will cause noticeable voltage drop, uneven brightness along the run, and risk of power supply overload. For larger installations, upgrade to a higher-wattage power supply, use the branch wiring method below, or deploy multiple power supplies for zoned independent power delivery.
Method 2: Main Cable Branch Connection (Figure 2)
Recommended for large-area installations with a high volume of LED light sheets, to ensure stable performance and consistent light output across the full space.
1. Connect the main trunk line of the main cable connector to your power supply.
2. The main cable connector features multiple tap outputs to form independent branch circuits.
3. On each individual branch, follow the cascade connection steps from Method 1 to connect your LED light sheets separately.
This distributed wiring design minimizes long-run voltage drop and avoids overloading a single circuit. Note that this is not the only high-capacity solution — using multiple power supplies for zoned independent power is also a standard, reliable approach for extra-large or multi-zone projects.
Long Cascade LED Light Sheet for Cutting Matters and Suggestions

Our FPC LED light sheets can be trimmed to custom dimensions to fit your installation layout. Follow the guidelines below to avoid damaging the internal circuit and ensure normal operation.
✅ Valid cutting (left panel): Both straight cuts (horizontal / vertical along grid lines) and diagonal cuts are allowed, as long as you trim along designated unit boundaries to retain complete LED circuit groups. The diagram demonstrates correct diagonal cutting examples; straight perpendicular cuts along the grid also follow this valid cutting rule.
❌ Invalid cutting (right panel): Cutting through incomplete circuit units, or trimming a diagonal strip with only 1 LED group, will break the internal circuit and cause partial LEDs to malfunction.
Important Precautions
1. Cutting Unit Rules
• For straight cuts (horizontal or vertical along the grid lines, i.e. positive-direction cutting), the minimum valid cutting unit is 1 complete LED group.
• For diagonal cuts, the trimmed section must contain at least 2 complete LED groups. Cutting a single diagonal LED strip will break the internal circuit and cause LED failure.
• Always cut slightly beyond the marked cutting line for a clean full cut. Avoid cutting through connector positions whenever possible.
2. Cutting Operation
• Use sharp scissors and cut firmly through the full thickness of the FPC sheet. Trim away any burrs on cut edges before installation.
3. Installation Requirement
• Leave a 1–2 mm gap between adjacent cut FPC sheets during assembly. The sheets must not come into direct contact with metal surfaces.
3. Edge Insulation
• Seal and insulate all cut edges and exposed solder pads with insulating tape or adhesive to prevent short circuits.
