The 12V version is suitable for lower-voltage applications and shorter layouts, while the 24V option can be selected according to the requirements of the overall installation.

Installation Steps for Cuttable Neon Flex LED Strip

1. Measure and Cut the Strip
Measure the required installation length before cutting. Cut the neon flex LED strip only at the marked cutting line to avoid damaging the PCB and internal LED circuit.

2. Connect the Power Wires
Solder the red wire to the positive (+) terminal and the black wire to the negative (-) terminal on the PCB. Check the polarity before applying power to the silicone neon LED strip.

3. Seal the Open End
Apply a suitable amount of glue or sealant to the open end of the silicone tube. Install the matching end cap in the direction shown by the arrow and make sure the end is properly sealed.

4. Install the Mounting Clips
Prepare the screws and mounting clips, then position them along the planned lighting path. Adjust the clip placement before securing each one firmly with a screwdriver.

5. Fit the Strip into the Clips
Place the light-emitting side of the neon flex LED strip facing upward. Press the strip body fully into the mounting clips, keeping the strip surface parallel with the upper edge of each clip.

6. Connect and Protect the Terminals
Connect the installed LED strip to the correct power output. Insulate the terminals and exposed ends, then apply suitable short-circuit and anti-corrosion protection before putting the lighting system into operation.

Handling Precautions for Cuttable Neon Flex LED Strip

              

1. Do Not Bend the Strip Laterally
Do not bend the silicone neon LED strip in the lateral direction shown in the illustration. Bend it only along its intended direction and installation path to avoid putting stress on the internal circuit.

2. Do Not Twist the LED Strip
Do not twist, fold or rotate the neon flex LED strip during installation. Twisting can deform the silicone tube and place uneven pressure on the PCB, which may affect the strip’s appearance and electrical connections.

3. Do Not Wrap the Strip Around Objects Smaller Than 50 mm
Do not wrap the LED strip around an object with a diameter of less than 50 mm. Maintain a bending diameter of at least 50 mm to avoid excessive bending stress and help preserve the strip’s shape and performance.
