Available in 12V and 24V constant-voltage versions, the strip can be matched to different low-voltage lighting layouts. Each roll has a 5 m standard length and a listed 5 m maximum connection length, making it easier to plan the power feed before installation. Select the voltage that matches the project wiring and use a compatible supply.

4. Silicone Construction with IP65 Protection

The silicone construction is specified with anti-yellowing and high-temperature resistance for normal lighting use. IP65 protection and a working temperature range of -25°C to +60°C allow the strip to be considered for suitable semi-outdoor projects when all connections and exposed ends are sealed. Installation Steps for 12V/24V Square Neon Flex Strip

1. Measure and Cut at the Marked Line
Measure the required installation length of the square neon flex strip, then cut it only along the printed cutting mark. Do not cut between the marked sections, as this may damage the internal circuit.

2. Solder the Correct Power Wires
Identify the red wire as positive (+) and the black wire as negative (-). Solder both wires to the corresponding PCB pads, making sure that the polarity is correct before applying power.

3. Seal the Open End and Fit the End Cap
Apply suitable sealant to the open end of the neon flex strip. Insert the end cap in the direction shown by the arrow and press it firmly into position to help protect the exposed section.

4. Position and Secure the Mounting Clips
Place the fixing clips along the planned installation line. Adjust their spacing according to the shape of the project, then use screws and a screwdriver to secure each clip firmly to the mounting surface.

5. Press the Strip into the Fixed Clips
Keep the light-emitting side facing upward and press the strip body fully into the mounting clips. Make sure the strip remains straight and that its upper surface stays parallel with the top edge of each clip.

6. Connect the Strip and Protect the Terminals
After the strip has been installed, connect it to the compatible power output. Before switching on the system, insulate the terminals and open ends, and apply suitable protection against short circuits and corrosion.

Precautions for 12V/24V Square Neon Flex Strip

   

1. Do Not Bend the Strip Sideways
Do not bend the square neon flex strip in the lateral direction. Sideways bending can place stress on the internal circuit and may affect the strip’s shape, light output or electrical connection.

2. Do Not Twist the Neon Flex Strip
Keep the strip flat and aligned during installation. Twisting the body can deform the silicone profile, disturb the internal LED arrangement and prevent the strip from sitting correctly inside the mounting clips.

3. Do Not Wrap It Around Objects Smaller Than 50 mm in Diameter
Avoid wrapping the strip around any object with a diameter below 50 mm. Maintain a bending diameter of at least 50 mm to reduce mechanical stress and preserve the square profile during installation.
