1. RGBW Combines Full-Color Effects with Dedicated White Light

This strip combines RGB color LEDs with a separate white-light channel, so you are not limited to mixing red, green and blue when a clean white output is needed. The RGB side can be used for color effects, accents and dynamic scenes, while the dedicated white LEDs provide a much more practical white-light source for everyday illumination. This makes the product useful for projects that need both decorative color and functional white light from the same strip. 2. Separate SMD3030 RGB and SMD2835 White LEDs

The product uses SMD3030 LEDs for RGB and SMD2835 LEDs for the white channel, with 24 RGB LEDs and 24 white LEDs per meter for a total of 48 LEDs/m. This mixed LED arrangement gives the strip two different jobs: the RGB section handles color output, while the white section is designed for stronger practical illumination. It is a useful configuration for projects where color effects and usable white light need to come from the same linear source.

3. 175° Large-Angle Lens for Broad Light Distribution

The integrated 175° lens is one of the main visual differences between this product and ordinary bare LED tape. It spreads the light over a very wide angle, helping the individual LED points blend more naturally when the strip is installed inside a profile or behind a diffuser. The purpose is not to create a sharp beam, but to throw the light broadly across the available space so the finished line looks more continuous and less like a row of individual LEDs.

4. Strong White Channel for Practical Illumination

The dedicated white channel is specified with up to 1200lm/m in the supplied data, which gives the strip a useful white-light output for functional linear lighting. This is important because RGB-only strips are mainly designed around color mixing, while an RGBW product can provide a genuine white-light channel for applications where the strip is expected to contribute to the actual illumination of the space.

Applications of Flexible RGBW LED Strip Lights

1. Linear Profile Lighting

This is probably the most natural application for the product. The strip is designed around a wide-angle lens and profile integration, so it can be installed inside an aluminum channel to create a continuous line of RGBW light. Instead of treating the product like exposed decorative tape, the profile becomes part of the lighting system, helping protect the strip and improve the finished appearance.

2. Shopping Mall Lighting

Shopping malls use linear lighting in corridors, display zones, feature walls and branded areas. This strip can provide normal white illumination when the space is open to the public and then switch to RGB effects for campaigns, seasonal displays or special events. The profile-based installation also allows the lighting line to be integrated into the architecture rather than appearing as exposed LED tape.
