1. MT16703 IC for Addressable Pixel Control
The built-in MT16703 IC turns the strip into a programmable RGB lighting system instead of a standard group-controlled RGB product. Each meter contains 96 LEDs arranged into 20 controllable pixel units, allowing the lighting effect to be changed section by section. This makes it a better fit for signs, outlines and decorative projects where moving or changing color effects matter.
2. 20 Pixels per Meter for Dynamic Effects
With 20 pixel units per meter, the strip can create more detailed running and chasing effects than a simple RGB strip that changes color as one whole section. Depending on the controller and programming, effects can move along the neon line rather than changing every section at the same time. The 96 LEDs/m density also keeps the illuminated line visually full.
3. Flexible Silicone Body for Custom Shapes
The silicone tube can be bent to follow curves, corners, letters and irregular outlines, so it is not limited to straight runs. This makes it practical for custom signs, logos and architectural details where the light needs to follow the actual shape of the design. The flexible construction also helps installers deal with different layouts without having to build each section from rigid lighting components.
4. IP67 Protection for Outdoor Projects
The silicone construction is rated IP67, making it suitable for properly designed indoor and outdoor applications. It can be considered for building outlines, landscape decoration, storefronts and outdoor signs where dust and water protection are required. Proper waterproof connectors, end caps and cable joints are still important to maintain the protection level after installation.
