Installation Steps for Side Emitting Flexible Neon LED Light Strip

1. Measure and Cut the Strip
Measure the required installation length before cutting. Cut the extra strip only along the marked cutting line to avoid damaging the PCB and internal LED components.

2. Solder the Power Wires
Connect the red wire to the positive (+) terminal and the black wire to the negative (-) terminal on the PCB. Check the polarity carefully before applying power to the LED strip.

3. Seal the Strip End
Apply a suitable amount of glue or sealant to the open end of the silicone tube. Install the end cap in the direction shown by the arrow and make sure the end is fully covered and sealed.

4. Install the Fixing Clips
Prepare the screws and mounting clips, then position the clips along the planned lighting path. Adjust their position as needed and secure them firmly to the mounting surface with a screwdriver.

5. Insert the Strip into the Clips
Place the light-emitting side in the correct direction and press the strip body completely into the fixing clips. Keep the surface of the strip parallel with the upper edge of the clips after installation.

6. Connect the Power and Protect the Ends
Connect the installed strip to the correct power output. Insulate the terminals and exposed ends, then apply suitable short-circuit and anti-corrosion protection before switching on the lighting system.

 

Precautions for Side Emitting Flexible Neon LED Light Strip

    

1. Do Not Bend the Strip Laterally
Do not bend the side-emitting neon LED strip in the lateral direction shown in the illustration. Follow the intended bending direction during installation to avoid placing excessive stress on the silicone tube and internal PCB.

2. Do Not Twist the LED Strip
Do not twist, fold or rotate the strip while handling or installing it. Twisting may deform the silicone body and place uneven pressure on the internal circuit, which can affect the strip’s appearance and electrical connections.

3. Do Not Wrap the Strip Around Objects Smaller Than 50 mm
Do not wrap the LED strip around an object with a diameter of less than 50 mm. Keep the bending diameter at 50 mm or more to reduce bending stress and help maintain the strip’s shape and performance.
