Installation Steps for Semi-Circular Neon LED Strip

1. Mark the Required Length
Lay the semi-circular Neon LED Strip along the intended route and determine the required length. Remove the excess section only at the printed scissor mark to avoid damaging the internal circuit.

2. Solder the Wires and Prepare the First End
Connect the red wire to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal on the PCB. After soldering, apply suitable sealant around the open end of the strip before fitting the end cap in the indicated direction.

3. Close the Opposite End
Apply an even layer of sealant to the remaining open end. Slide the end cap onto the strip in the direction shown in the installation guide, making sure the cap is seated firmly and the opening is properly covered.

4. Install the Mounting Clips
Position the fixing clips along the planned installation path. Keep the spacing suitable for the shape of the light line, then tighten the screws with a screwdriver so that each clip remains stable on the mounting surface.

5. Seat the Strip in the Clips
Place the light-emitting surface upward and press the silicone strip into each mounting clip from above. Check that the strip is fully engaged and that its surface remains parallel with the upper edge of the clips.

6. Complete the Electrical Protection
Connect the installed strip to the compatible constant-voltage power supply. Before energizing the circuit, insulate the terminals and protect the joints and end caps against short circuits, moisture entry and corrosion.

 

Precautions for Semi-Circular Neon LED Strip

1. Avoid Lateral Bending
Do not force the semi-circular Neon LED Strip to bend sideways. Lateral deformation can place stress on the internal PCB and may affect the profile, connection or light output.

2. Keep the Strip Free from Twisting
Install the strip in a flat, aligned position and do not twist its silicone body. Twisting may distort the semi-circular profile and prevent the strip from sitting correctly inside the fixing clips.

3. Maintain a Minimum 50 mm Bending Diameter
Do not wrap the strip around objects with a diameter smaller than 50 mm. A sufficiently large bending diameter helps reduce mechanical stress and preserves the shape of the silicone housing during installation.
